Dr. Shreya Prabhoo (MBBS, DGO, DNB, MRCOG, FICOG, MNAMS) is a highly respected Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist based in Mumbai. After excelling in her pre-graduate education, Dr. Shreya Prabhoo pursued her passion for women’s health by specialising in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her MBBS from the prestigious Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital, where she laid the foundation for her medical career. Her desire to further her expertise led her to obtain a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Prabhoo then advanced her qualifications by earning the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Dr. R.N. Cooper Hospital. This rigorous academic training equipped her with the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care to women, with a focus on addressing their unique health needs.

Dr. Shreya’s Professional Journey
With over 13 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Shreya Prabhoo has gained extensive expertise in handling a wide range of women’s health complexities. Her career began with working at several renowned hospitals, where she honed her skills and built a reputation for excellence in patient care. These early experiences laid the foundation for her current success and commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic healthcare.
Currently, Dr. Prabhoo serves as the Director and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Dr. Prabhoo’s Ortho Spine and Gynaecate Clinic. She is also a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist as well as a Laparoscopic Surgeon at Mukund Nursing Home.
In addition, she has worked as an Assistant Professor at Topiwala Medical college and BYL Nair hospital 2013-2018 and an Assistant Honorary from 2018-2023. She is currently a Visiting Consultant at Surya Hospital and Criticare Asia Hospital, where she continues to offer her expertise to a wider community. She is also associated with L&T Healthcare Centre as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, where she provides specialised care to patients.
Throughout her career, Dr. Prabhoo has focused on delivering personalised care with a high success rate, always prioritising her patients’ health and well-being. Her wide range of expertise, coupled with a compassionate approach, has earned her the trust of many women in Mumbai and beyond.

She is a Managing Committee Member of the Mumbai Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (MOGS) since 2022 and serves as Youth Coordinator for the Association of Maharashtra Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (AMOGS). Additionally, she is a member of the Youth Talent Promotion Committee with the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of India (FOGSI).
